LA SHORT STORY OF ALFA MARAIS
After ten years of expatriation in Africa and Asia, I passed the French as a Foreign Language teaching diploma in order to always maintain a link with foreigners. This is how I met two French trainers Audrey and Reine, former expatriates, and passionate about their profession!
Together, we decided to create a school based on a simple concept which is to teach French by offering as many real-life situations as possible.
The Marais district is ideal for this. We use its riches (the market, museums, etc.) and take advantage of this incredible environment to share with our trainees the secrets and culture of Paris.
Today we are surrounded by trainers of other languages (English, Spanish, Italian and German) to extend our offer.
What is unique about Alfa Marais is the friendly and caring spirit demonstrated by all the trainers who work with us. And it’s also its location, in the heart of Paris, 5 minutes from Place des Vosges, opposite the Picasso Museum.
It is with joy that, since 2022, we have welcomed and organized French training for foreign students during their school trips to Paris.
Since January 2024, every Tuesday, we have offered our express training "6 hours to survive your first days in Paris" for foreigners who have just settled in Paris. Training that will help them overcome their apprehension about entering businesses and others.
And finally, we are preparing two exceptional express training courses for tourists during the Olympic Games: French “capsule” training courses on the following themes: Romantic Paris and Paris Café and Restaurant.
